Getting the opportunity to visit the Philadelphia Flyers' practice facility in Voorhees, NJ and meeting all of the Flyers players.
Favorite Thing About ESYHF:
The opportunity to travel.
Champions Project:
For his Champions Project, Matt set out to improve his reading level. He dedicated 30 mins a night to reading different stories and novels (on top of his regular school work) and would follow that by writing a paragraph the next day summarizing what he read the night before. During his reading project, Matt was able to increase his reading level by two full grades according to his teacher.
Coach's Comments:
Matt is a very dedicated player and has quickly become one of ESYHF's top defensemen. He enjoys the physical aspect of the game and is always working hard to improve his game.
